During the quarantine in 2020, I was stranded in a small village in southeast france while taking university exams for several schools there, where later on I had passed two years living.

Being born in a big metropole like Istanbul, it was a shock for me to find myself in the middle of wide meadows and dense and untouched forests where roe deer swarm.

I was very disturbed by this unusual environment and I believe that these feelings I experienced are reflected in the photographs I took while living there.
